Dylan has got his first sponsor! Big thanks to Paul and Greg over at Riders Ready! They have now official sponsored Dylan. He stepped up to a Diamondback Mini Viper (a 16″). He has been wanting the thing for a few months now. It took him about 5 minutes to become very comfortable on it from his 12″. After about an hour at J-ville skatepark he was feeling as comfortable on the Mini Viper as he has been on his 12″. He has gotten a whole new desire to ride. We spent about 3 hours at the skatepark and he never quit riding the whole time.

Our regular ride night is Wednesday. Then when the weather permits we try to ride on Saturday or Sunday. We had planned on ridding the dirtjumps Sunday but the weather is not supposed to be very good. Friday is supposed to be mostly sunny and a high of 73. So a couple of us decided to make it a Wednesday night ride again on Friday. We will head out to the dirtjumps after work. That means people will start showing up around 5:30 ish. Hope to have a big group and a sick ride.

Our buddy Mike Metzger over at Transitions Bikes is coming out with a new shoe. From the picture I have seen of it everyone will want one. Check it out yourself. I will be saving my money.

I the words that E2 stole from Big. “Do work son!”. As everyone knows the dirt jumps have been in need of some major attention. We ALL talk about how we want to get out and ride them but no one has put forth any effort to work on them. It seems that some of the 20″ guys wanted to ride so they got out and did work. We need to follow there lead. As usual with anything we do its last minute and not many details have been set but. Sunday at the quarry. Lets get some work done.

We need to get some drainage issues fix before the spring rain hits and makes things worse. The landing off the box jump and the super booter are really beat. The area between the box and super booter is still trashed (whats new). A new line has been started and the rain set in and it hasn’t been touched since. The tabletop line is completely gone (which most of you don’t really care about but my 5 year old still cant hit doubles so I do). There is so much potential out there that we need to take advantage of.

I realize that everyone has a life besides riding and working. If you can only make it out for 2 or 3 hours that is 2 or 3 more hours than nothing. Lets get the park ready for spring and summer. The more work we get done now the less we have to do later.
